At our Annual General Meeting we asked you to take a moment and answer the following:

14 local investors have pooled their capital in the VERGE Breakthrough Fund, exceeding our $2 million goal. We are now actively looking for investments in affordable housing, community real estate and growing social enterprises in Southwestern Ontario.
Our Pillar staff hit the road attending three provincial and national conferences in one hectic week in Toronto! At the Ontario Nonprofit Network, the Ontario Social Enterprise Roundtable and the Social Finance Forum, we shared our successes and challenges, learning from the many incredible voices in the room.
The Case Study follows the success of five consultants based out of Innovation Works who came together under the auspices of Pillar Nonprofit Network to form the Pillar Design Collective in response to an RFP by a consortium of Big Brother Big Sisters agencies in Southwestern Ontario looking to undertake a Regionalization Study.
New project to expand the capacity of organizations to evaluate their programs and services and, as a result, increase their effectiveness and enhance their impact.
Pillar to lead a regional social enterprise partnership and launch a $2 million social enterprise investment fund, supported by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Growth.
We are thrilled to share that Pillar recently received the June Callwood Award for Excellence in Volunteer Management, and that Michelle Baldwin is a finalist for IABC London's Outstanding Communicator Award!
On December 5th 2016, I attended a workshop titled Exploring Power and Privilege, facilitated by Mojdeh Cox of the Canadian Labour Congress in partnership with Pillar Nonprofit Network and Family Service Thames Valley. It was intended to be a follow-up to the Community Forum on Racism held on September 7th 2016. The target audience and primary attendees of the workshop were executive directors, board members, and senior managers in the nonprofit sector.
