Social Six presents the Innovation Competition was a special youth program run by Pillar Nonprofit Network throughout the month of August. The program focused on social innovation and empowering young people to be changemakers in their communities. As a participant, individuals gained the opportunity to tackle an important community issue, gain crucial entrepreneurial experience and learn about key social competencies. Over nine groups of young people came together on August 27th, 2021 and competed in the very first Social Six Innovation Competition. For the big reveal, the winner of the Social Six Young Innovators Award is...FitBrain by James Czerkawski and Aniela Kola.
FitBrain strives to empower every person to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. This mission is accomplished through online group fitness workshops and activities targeted at uplifting marginalized youth. People who enroll in FitBrain modules will have access to weekly wellbeing blog posts, personalized fitness mentorship and group workshops which foster a stronger community. FitBrain has scheduled its first fitness workshop for October 24th.
