Changing Content Field Types

If you wish to change a field type from say a "Select List" to "Checkboxes" in Events, Volunteer Opportunities or Job Opportunities do the following:

1. Login to the admin panel as an administrator
2. Click "Structure -> Content Types -> Events -> Manage Fields
3. Locate the field you wish to modify and click the "edit" link in the "Operations" column
4. In the displayed dialog box, click the "Widget Type" tab.
5. From the drop-down select the new widget

Notes:

1. Changing the content widget type may break the styling of the page.  This is not something you will be able to fix.  Your options will be to change it back and / or get PeaceWorks to change the widget type and fix the styling for you.  There will be a cost for this.
2. Depending on the type of data stored in the field, not all widget types are available for selection.
