Pillar Nonprofit Network's Learning Community Agreements

Learning Community Agreements

These are our Learning Community Agreements for this event. By registering for this event you are consenting to these agreements.

  • Respect all voices and hold them as important
  • Lean into your own discomfort
  • Challenge each other with care and compassion and respect established boundaries
  • Expect and accept non-closure
  • Acknowledge we are all on a journey and part of the journey is growth
  • Respect Confidentiality and Consent

Please note that if we feel that questions or comments are disruptive in any way we may move the individual into a room with one of my pillar colleagues to continue the conversation there. A determination would then be made about a return to the workshop.

We would like to encourage you to take this opportunity to think more deeply about Ethical and Safe Spaces at your organization or community.

  • Why do we need to create these statements and resources?
  • Think about who is safe and not safe?
  • Is your space/organization safe and ethical?
  • How can you center this work in every meeting, every event?

We would like to share the work that Carolinian Canada is doing - Carolinian Canada’s Commitment to Creating Ethical and Safe Spaces
