The Home County Music & Art Festival is seeking a Food Vendor Coordinator to help make this summer’s Festival a success. Food vendors are essential to creating a great experience for guests and helping the Festival thrive.

The Home County Music & Art Festival will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Victoria Park, London, Ontario.

The Food Vendor Coordinator will coordinate food vendor activities with support from the General Manager, focusing on vendor outreach, documentation follow-up, park planning, and on-site management. Administrative processing of paperwork and payments will be handled by the General Manager.

This is a vital volunteer role for anyone who is organized, communicative, comfortable problem-solving in a live event setting, and passionate about making a meaningful contribution to one of London’s most beloved summer traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact returning food vendors and respond to new vendor inquiries (vendor list provided).

  • Ensure vendors complete and submit all required forms and payments by the deadlines.

  • Confirm vendor requirements for park placement, hydro access, and equipment needs.

  • Assign vendor locations in Victoria Park and assist with site marking before the event.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for food vendors leading up to and during the Festival.

  • Liaise with the City of London, Middlesex-London Health Unit, London Fire Department, and Electrical Safety Authority regarding vendor approvals and site compliance.

  • Support vendor move-in on Festival day, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure vendor needs are addressed.

  • Keep organized records related to vendor assignments, communications, and event day notes for future reference.

Time Commitment:

  • Variable hours from appointment through July 2025.

  • Heavier involvement required from late May through Festival weekend (July 26).

  • Attendance at key planning meetings and on-site support during Festival setup and event day.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with Festival leadership.

  • Comfortable problem-solving in a live event environment.

  • Experience with vendor management, event coordination, or volunteer leadership is an asset but not required.

  • Familiarity with municipal processes, health unit requirements, or fire safety guidelines is helpful (training and guidance will be provided).

Why Volunteer with Us?

  • Play a key role in the success of a longstanding, beloved community festival.

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience in event and vendor coordination.

  • Support the revival of a major cultural event in the heart of London.
