About You
If you love writing and want to help kids develop a lifelong love of reading, this role is for you! We’re looking for someone with strong writing skills to help us secure funding through grants.
What You’ll Do:
● Research and write compelling grant applications.
● Work closely with our advocate and a team to highlight the impact of early literacy in our community.

● Writers and researchers who love crafting persuasive stories
● Students or professionals seeking experience in nonprofit fundraising
● Anyone detail-oriented and passionate about early childhood development with strong written communication skills

About Us
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a global early literacy program, founded by Dolly Parton and supported by the Dollywood Foundation Canada, that mails a high-quality, age-appropriate book to every registered child (from birth until their fifth birthday), completely free of charge.
Locally, our London Ontario affiliate:
● Is 100% volunteer run
● Is endowed within the London Community Association
● Fundraises and secures local donations and sponsorships to cover book and mailing costs
● Promotes the program and enrolls children
● Manages the local program administration, including registrations and community outreach
