Description:
Evening Adventure volunteers support BGC London’s after-school program that rotates through supper club, sports, arts, STEM, life skills, homework time, and transitions. Volunteers assist staff to keep activities running smoothly, support participant engagement, and help maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Location & Schedule:
- Location:BGC London (184 Horton St E)
- Dates:Sept 2025 - May 2026
- Days:Monday–Friday, Times:4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Commitment:Flexible shifts (evening availability preferred),
- Choose shifts that fit your schedule, whether evenings or weekends.
Duties:
- Support daily rotations: Supper Club, Sports Leagues, Arts & Creatives, STEM/Science, Life Skills & Wellness, Homework Help, and Transitions.
- Supervise participants and encourage safe, respectful behaviour.
- Assist with setup, equipment, and end-of-day clean-up.
- Help staff with attendance, behaviour notes, and simple record-keeping.
- Model positive interactions and support inclusion for all participants.
- Choose shifts that fit your schedule, whether evenings or weekends.
Skills Preferred:
High school student (Grade 9–12) or older.
Comfortable working with children and youth; patient, energetic, and team oriented
Good communication and teamwork skills
