Santa Shuffle Race Day Power Team!

15 volunteers needed. Perfect for high school students needing volunteer hours.

Assist with setting up the Santa Shuffle Race on race day, event management and tear down following the race.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

· Setting up and tearing down tent

· Setting up and removing km markers on the route

· Setting up table for registration

· Registration and t-shirt table assistance

· Setting up and tearing down photo area

· Setting up and tearing down emcee area

· Setting up and tearing down sound system

· Assisting people with parking

· Assist with handing out refreshments

· Cheering participants along the route

· Handing out medals when participants cross the finish line

· Customer Service – directing people to washrooms, refreshments, photos

· Assist with prize table

· Assist with clean up as required (ensuring garbage cans are emptied, no trash left behind, etc)

Required Qualifications/Training:

Must be 15+.

Must be dependable, engaged and friendly

Must be able to lift 15lbs+

Must be willing to have photo taken for social media and promotional purposes

Second language an asset

Attention to detail

Skills Preferred:

Must be able to be outside for 2 hours or more in winter.

Positive attitude and a willingness to have fun while volunteering.

Able to cheer on others!

Additional Opportunity Information:

This is an outdoor/indoor position. We will have a pre-meeting before the event on December 6th to go over roles, make signs, etc.
