The Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners is looking for volunteers to support various programs and across multiple regions!
Do you live in Elgin, Oxford or in the London-Middlsex area? Whether you are interested in working with our clients, supporting the education team with workshops or helping with our community events and fundraisers there is something for everyone!!
Current Opportunities:
In-home Recreation
Volutneers are matched 1:1 with a client living with Dementia. You provide weekly visits for a total of 12 weeks. Not only do you get to create a new friendship, but you also get to play games, bake, go for walks or maybe you might have a new running buddy!
We are looking for volunteers in Elgin and Oxford. For London-Middlsex we have a specific need for volutneers in South, East and West London.
The Social
Group-based Recreation Program. Takes place across various locations and all three regions. Commitment is 1x per week for 4 hours.
Minds in Motion - In person and Virtual Opportunities
An excercise focused program. Runs in person and virtually. Looking for volunteers to support in person programs in Aylmer and Komoka at this time. As well as volunteers to support the virtual program.
Aging Simulation Workshop Team
Our Education team runs Aging Simulation Workshops across London on various times/days during the year. This is such a fun opportunity for anyone interested in advocating and education!
