Being a board member with Why We March means becoming part of a community-grounded movement for inclusion, advocacy, and change. Our board members help set the strategic direction of the organization, guide our programs and partnerships, and ensure we continue to reflect the voices and needs of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Serving on the board is an opportunity to use your experience, leadership, and passion to build the future of the Prism Community Hub, strengthen relationships with community partners, and help ensure that Why We March remains a resilient, sustainable, and impactful organization.
Key Details:
- Aged 18+
- 3-year term w/possibility of extension
- Passionate about creating change and acceptance in the community
- 4 hours of work monthly, depending on voluntary committtee commitments
- Available second Wednesday of the month between 6-7pm for our board meetings.
- Previous board experience not required
