Volunteer This Summer: Make a Pawsitive Impact at Pawlooza!
Pawlooza is an annual, non-profit community event in London, Ontario, celebrating our furry friends while supporting two remarkable local non-profit organizations: ARF Ontario and LEADS Employment Services. Last year, we saw over 20,000 people attending, and this year we expect to welcome around 25,000 attendees. To make Pawlooza 2024 bigger and better, we need your help!
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds to help bring this year'sevent to life. We are particularly looking for volunteers for:
- Cool Down Team
Help attendees and their pets stay cool and hydrated throughout the day.
- Dock Diving Helper
Assist with the sign-up process, manage the area, and retrieve balls from the water.
- Festival Parking
Direct traffic and ensure efficient parking for all visitors.
- FunZone Helper
Manage the off-leash play area and ensure waivers are completed.
- Gate Keepers
Welcome attendees, handle money, and direct festival-goers to parking.
- Groundskeeping
Maintain cleanliness of the festival grounds and empty garbage bins.
- Info Booth
Provide festival information, assist customers, and sell refreshments.
- Lifeguard (experienced only)
Supervise dogs in water areas; must be a certified lifeguard.
- Luring Course
Ensure waivers are signed and manage the Lure course area.
- Pawlooza Store (Shopawlooza)
Handle merchandise, assist customers, and manage transactions.
- Petite Pooches Helper
Oversee the off-leash area for small dogs, ensuring a safe and fun experience.
- Vintage & Thrift Shop
Manage merchandise display, assist customers, and handle transactions.
- Water Station
Keep water bowls clean and filled for dogs, and maintain the station.
*One mandatory training session before the event day, further information will be send out closer to the date.

Please keep in mind that if you apply after July 23rd, you will not be able to choose the size of your volunteer t-shirt. You will still receive one, however your preferred size is not guaranteed.
