We are thrilled to welcome Jasmine Ball as Pillar's new Executive Assistant.
In light of recent changes to Pillar's membership program, we have made some shifts within our team to better support our members.
On January 23, Michelle Baldwin, Executive Director of Pillar Nonprofit Network and Vice Chair of Ontario Nonprofit Network, presented at the Budget Consultation with Minister of Finance Vic Fedeli and Minister of Transportation Jeff Yurek, along with over 50 other community members across the region.
Current round of applications due are March 15th, 2019 for the Libro Social Enterprise Incubator, a program of Pillar Nonprofit Network starting April 1st, 2019.
We are thrilled to welcome three new volunteers to the Pillar team and one student placement. Aruna Dutt, Rida Fatima and Caleigh Atkinson will be volunteering their time to help us with our communications and social media strategy. Darian Wrenshall has come to us from the Media & Public Interest program at Western and will be supporting our Impact Consulting team.
Each quarter we invite startup social enterprises to join us for six months of integrated, supported learning at Innovation Works. Sponsored by Libro Credit Union, we provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, learning opportunities and resources to boost the impact of these social enterprises.
We are thrilled to share that Phyllis Retty will be joining the Pillar team on November 1 as our new Director of Finance.
